What is indexing and why is it required to create Search connectors

Hi Experts,

While activating search connectors we had to perform an indexing step.

Could anyone explain what happens when search connectors and indexed ?

Hello Johan,

Embedded search is based on active and consistent search connectors. In order to enable the search functionality, search connectors need to be created in advance.

To make the objects in the connectors which with status Prepared available in the search, you have to schedule indexing for that connector. (for deeper information, currently I can't find. Sorry)
