How to send SMS from PO 7.4

Current Setup:

816,864 EDI messages sending by Email. As Customer suggested I’ve Done a mapping with these EDI message with TXTRAW IDOC and and the mail from ECC end.

Requirement:

But customer is asking now, instead of sending by mail I’ve to send those EDI messages by SMS to the end users.

I’m using PO7.4 system, and suggest me how can I achieve above requirement using my PO system. And what are all resources do we have to install in PO system to achieve this?

Hello Ramesh,

you should configure the SMS server gateway in tcode SCOT. Than you can send SMS.

I gone through the link earlier, but want to know is there any any to send SMS directly from PO7.4 to SMS  server.  configuring from ECC end it's possible but we need achieve this using PO system. is this possible?

Interesting requirement.

Try maintaining a HTTP destination referreing to SMS gateway and check.

Might work.
