UPG PPM 5.0 to PPM 6.1

Hello

I need to upgrade to a PPM 5.0 to PPM 6.1 on abap system NW.7.0 EHP2.

This system is connected to the SRM 7.0 EHP2 backend and Enterprise Portal 730.

If you do the upgrade of the PPM i must also provide for the upgrade on the SRM o EP?

Hi Sandro,

upgrade from PPM 5.0 to PPM 6.1 also requires upgrade of NW 7.02 to NW 7.4 (as PPM 6.1 requires NW 7.4 as prerequiste).

Enterprise Portal: You can continue to use the EP 7.30 also with PPM 6.1.

If the SRM is on a seperate system/instance you can also continue to use it with PPM 6.1.

If the SRM is on teh same system/instance as PPM, you need to check which SRM version
runs on NW 7.4.

Hi Sandro,

If you are going to upgrade PPM 6.1 then anyhow you need upgrade to NW 7.4. In this case you can migrate the EP to NWBC , which runs on NW 7.4.

You might not require to upgrade SRM 7 EHP2, Which runs on NW 7.3.

Thanks for the reply.

The PPM is installed only on NW7.02 EHP2 system abap.

The SRM and Enterprise Portal are independent system of another landscape.

SRM and EP pull only the data from PPM system
