Hello Sachin Karale

The Problem may be Because you Don't Assign Number Range to Service Order Type

GOTO -->Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -->Maintenance and Service Processing

-->Maintenance and Service Orders -->Functions and Settings for Order Types -->Configure Number Ranges or Use T_CODE " OION " . then Assign your Type to Number Range.

First of all - there are no "urgent" discussions on SCN, everyone is equal. Second - do some "due diligence" research before posting a question. The issues with number ranges have been discussed on SCN many times and even SAP Notes are available on the subject. It does not matter what specific object is affected, functionality is pretty much the same. The number range buffer is explained in SAP Help: Let me google that for you

If this is in a non-productive system then it's a common issue that usually goes away by itself after you try the same thing a few times (it just "churns" through the number buffer and eventually reaches the next available number).

If it's a productive system then you can also check the message ID/number and then see where it occurs exactly and what causes it. Checking and adjusting SNRO would be the most likely remedy.

Hi Sachin,

First check in the order type which no.ranges maintain in KOT2_OPA. After that maintain the no.ranges from the same screen itself by click on change button under no.range interval or maintain the no.range for the interval for the order type in KANK.

Mukthar

Hi,

go to SNRO enter the above object and maintain the required number ranges.
