Specification Limits is not working dynamically i5chart SAP MII 15.0

Hi Dear,

I'm trying to test the specification limits dynamically in i5chart, but isn't working.

When I input the Upper/Lower Limit fixed values the bars of the chart are colored in according with the limits, but when I put 0 in these fields and select the Upper/Lower Limit Columns that return of my query, the bars are not colored. They always follow the fixed value that are in Limits field.

I'm using SAP MII 15.0 SP 4 Patch 11

Best regards

Specification Limits are for chart type Line. If you select Bar type you can see SpecificationLimits is disabled.

Can you pls post some screenshot of the output and your configuration.

Hi Sriram,

Thank you for your attention and response.

I'm using the Custom i5Chart, and not a Bar i5Chart.

In Custom type the Specification Limits option is enabled.

I checked in our internal server and this is the behavior.

You mentioned you are passing Limit Columns from Query itself right, Can you pls show how you are maintaining the data of limit columns along with the actual data in the same query.

Hi Sriram,

First I would like to thank you for your attention. Actually, I have a query that return the follow data:

And in my i5Chart configuration, I choosed type: Custom, my column value is VL_ACTUA,

my column label is DT_HOUR and Specification Limits I put:

Upper Limit Column = VL_UPPER_LIMIT

Center Limit Column = empty

Lower Limit Column = VL_LOWER_LIMIT

And when the bar passes the upper line or gets below lower line, I would like that bar turns red.

However when the bar is between the limits, I would like that it turns green.

It works just only when I put the fixed values, and not the columns dynamically the bars are colored,

but when I assign the columns dynamically it doesn't work.
