Dear All,
We are aiming to perform a new installation based on SAP NW 7.4 SR2 and IBM DB2 10.5 PureScale.
I have been going through the SAP installation guides and notes but one thing is still not clear to me.
In some older documentation it's stated that for example the solution is not supported in a virtual environment.
I am planning to perform the installation using servers on the Amazon cloud.
Is this still the case?
Many thanks for your support.
Best Regards,
Ridouan Taibi
Hello Ridouan,
You can safely install your SAP systems on public and private clouds.
Many customers are using virtualization on their SAP environment.
From Product Availability Matrix (Product Availability Matrix | SAP Support Portal) you can check certified versions of OS and DB2.
You can check below links also.
