Web Service as source in IDT (Joins in dfx) ?

Hi Experts,

I hope this is a proper forum for my Question!!!

We have created Universe on top of SOAP Web Services(without any prompts).

Now we have to join two different Web Service tables in Data foundation.I get an error that It is "not supported"

Any workaround in BI?

or

We must change Web Services?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi Nouman,

Only Web Service  Description Language (WSDL) 1.1 is supported for SOAP 1.1. for single source Data Foundations.

Hi Jacqueline,

Thank you for the response and pdf link. I checked the file and the answer is that Joins are not supported for web services.

Now we must have to ask our web services developers to join different tables first and create webservice and then BO IDT can connect.

Am i right in this solution?

Do you know if there are any plans to add web services to multi-sourced universes.
