FIORI analytical applications

Hi Experts,.

I want to know how to enable FIORI analytical applications, which would be the

step by step to activate them and work perfectly.

1- should first install certain components as shown below:

2- Then you must activate the service and application odata.

3. Finally assign the respective roles the user.

there is a part where it says KPI, the KPI is only activated? where you should do that? in the back-end or front-end?

Hi Axel,

For the fiori analytical applications,

1. Install the components required for the application

2. UISFIN, KPI is a front-end add on component on the Gateway side

3. Install the HANA XS Components on the HANA DB Side

4. Assign the HANA Roles/Privileges to the user (Smart Business Runtime and Designtime and respective app role)

5. Configure KPI's using KPI Modeler and create/Assign KPI Tile

(Read the configuration and implementation information for respective app and implement the steps)

6. Assign the KPI Tile to the required users

You can open the Implementation Documentation link from the Fiori app reference library - for your case it would open this page - App Implementation: Open Purchase Orders - SAP Fiori Apps - SAP Library

Here you can find step by step details of what all you need to do to activate the Open Purchase Orders app (like assign required SAP HANA roles, generate and assign analytic privileges to users and roles and the technical data required to perform these steps).
