No entry found in DB59 - SCM on HANA

Hello,

We have a SCM system on HANA DB with embedded Livecache.

LCApps and HANA are on the same version 1.00.097 and LCApps also initialized.

SCM Release is 713 SP 10.

In LC10 and DBACOCKPIT, the connections LCA, LDA and LEA exist and show green.

DB connection also shows green.

However, we are seeing multiple issues with regards to Livecache connectivity.

1) In DB59, there is no entry displayed.

2) In DBCONUSR, there is no entry visible.

3) /SAPAPO/OM17 consistency check gives error "Connection to livecache failed".

4) LCA03 also showing some errors:

At least on liveCache-table is not Row Store. Run program

/SAPAPO/OM_CREATE_LC_TABLES. If the problem is not solved contact SAP.

Ran this program but the error still exists.

Please help.

Thank you for your valuable inputs.

Did not initialize the livecache as there were entries present in the //ordmap and //ordkey tables.

I raised a SAP message and as suggested by Natalia, upgraded the HANA client version to 1.00.97 (from 1.00.80) and bounced the app servers.

The //om17 consistency checks started running fine.

Also, the tables /SAPAPO/ORDKEY, /SAPAPO/ORDMAP and /SAPAPO/STOCKANC were Column store, changed them to row store and //om13 was Green too.

- Use the /nDBACOCKPIT to setup & check the liveCache on HANA LCA/LDA/LEA connections.

- The liveCache tables were created with column type. What is incorrect.

  I recommend you to create the SAP message to HAN-DB-LVC or DB-BC-LCA in future, when you will have the issues with liveCache on HANA, and get the SAP Support.

Hi Arpit,

Please follow following steps , if you don't have much data in live cache. It should fix it.

1. Execute report /SAPAPO/OM_INITIALIZE_LC_HDB.

2. Execute report /SAPAPO/DELETE_LC_ANCHORS

Hello Arpit,

And pay attention that you need to check the LCA/LDA/LEA connections in /nDBACOCKPIT first.

Also, before to run the following reports:

1. Execute report /SAPAPO/OM_INITIALIZE_LC_HDB.

2. Execute report /SAPAPO/DELETE_LC_ANCHORS

check if the system is the brand new installation, as the 1) run will initialize the liveCache, liveCache data will be lost.

- Check the SAP note 1871831.

- Create the SAP message to HAN-DB-LVC or DB-BC-LCA in future, when you will have the issues with liveCache on HANA, and get the SAP Support to find proper solution for your case, and do the root case analysis.
