Hi All,
I would like to explore the SD part for Commission Handling in Sales Order for a Sales Rep.
I would like to give the Commission based on Sales Rep for the below:
1. Specific Customer or Group of Customer.
2. Specific Product or Group of Product.
3. Based on Sales Revenue or Margin Revenue.
I would like to use SD standard functionality to approach above scenarios. I have the below approach and process to be followed three scenarios above.
Case 1 :
1. Creating one Sales Representative Y1 similar like Customer Master 100 for which I will create the Sales Order. Will activate the Rebates in the Sales Represenative maser data. I will create the Rebate Agreement (Customer Rebate BO03) the Sales Representative Y1 for one week. I will create Order for the Customer 100 and Material X 5 Qty. Will enter the Sales Representative in the Sales Order so that Rebates agreement determines the Sales Order. Will deliver the Order and Material to make sure Invoice payment is clear. Once the Invoice is settle and payment is done.
Once the payment is done I will run the settlement for the Rebate Agreement. Before that will make sure Rebate Agreement is released for settlement.
I would like to use the standard Rebate Agreement and standard prcing procedure RVAA01 we have available.
Kindly confirm is my undestanding of the above is correct.
Kindly share your valuable feedback.
Regards,
Farhan.
Create a accrual condition record and use that condition type in pricing procedure , maintain accrual condition in VK11 and whenever sales order satisfies the accrual condition this will be posted to a separate G/L account and once every month end or year end you can pull the amounts from the G/L account and create a credit memo for the customer .

Hello Farhan,
I think your step is correct, you can handle sales commission by using rebate agreement.
Settlement from rebate agreement will trigger credit memo which has journal in FI ex :
Sales Commission (dr)
AR sales representative (cr)

Hi,
If sales employees are created as Personal numbers you can Handle commissions under COPA

Hello Farhan,
Have you tried to configure and execute the above scenario in your development server?
I believe this standard Rebate is only payable to Payer and your Sales Rep, will obviously not vbbe a payer in your Invoice.
Another approach of handling Commission to Sales Reps would be like this - It will take care of commission based on Specific Customer or Group of Customer and Specific Product or Group of Product based on Condition Records.
Thanks,

Hi Jignesh,
When I will create the Sales Representative in master data. In the Sales Representative master data in the partner tab page I will be classifying it as PY partner function. Hope this should be fine then and in Sales Order I will give this Sales Rep manually at the Header level and this should be find in Invoice.
So when I run the settlement of the Rebate Agreement which I have raised against this Sales Rep then it should work.
I will be creating and testing the above 3 scenarios in the Sand Box.
I would like to confirm is my understanding correct of the scenarios.
1.For specific Customer I will use BO03 Agreement Type.
2.For specific Material I will use BO02 Material Rebate Agreement Type.
3. Based on Sales Or Margin Revenue please can you all share some inputs which Agreement Type I can use and standard condition type we have in RVAA01 will fulfill the requirement.
Thanks,
Farhan.
