You can have pricing either at BOM Header or for its components and this being the case, you have not explained as to why you want the value to distribute from header. Most importantly, have you explained to your client as to how BOM functionality works in SAP? If your requirement is on the output, then give the logic to your ABAP team who can add in the smart form being used.
