ERROR WHILE UPGRADING YOUR STORY TO THE LATEST FORMAT

Hi, everyone.

I have a LUMS which has been working since now.

Yesterday I wanted to modify the story and I was very surprised having this error message when accessing COMPOSE section :

After closing the message window, LUMIRA DESKTOP screen appears as follows (full in blank) :

Only next posible step is closing LUMIRA DESKTOP and openning it again.

I have uninstalled current LUMIRA DESKTOP (1.28.2.52) and reinstalled again, but the same error.

I have noticed that this error only happens with one specific LUMS file.

This is the first time I see this error on LUMIRA.

Can someone give me a solution?.

Hi Sergio.

You would need to try multiple steps for this to work.

1. If you are able to get the compose screen now (not the white screen of death). You can try the below.

     a. Take the backup of the SAP Lumira Documents (found under your documents)

     b. and then inside the folder, you would see a file called .uptodate. Delete it and restart Lumira to see if you can update your LUMS file.

2. If you are getting the white screen of death, then try the following.

     a. Delete the .sapvi folder found under your profile directory (%USERPROFILE%) and restart Lumira.

Hi,

Question 1: Does that LUMS file contain any custom extension?

If no, install latest version of SAP Lumira (1.29.3) and try this again.
