Customized report taking long time after showing 90% completed

Hi all,

Good day to all....

When our user was using a customized tcode for displaying the sales statement for one year, firstly it was showing 90% finished in downside and after that it was taking more than half hour to complete that report.

Also please note that this issue started only last week.Before that system was working fine as the report was taking much less time , not taking as of now.

Kindly help on this matter as the users are unable to do the reprt.

Hi Praveen,

Did this tcode was giving output in timely manner earlier (week before) with the same selection of one year or more?

Also please check the table and indexes being used with this tcode/report. How much changes were done in table during this duration, also sometimes Indexes becomes stale and that also affect performance. When you are executing this tcode then analyze memory utilization also for the work process associated with it along with any issue at DB level.

Please provide table names associated with this tcode/report and ask your developer to run this tcode in debug mode to analyze the step where it is waiting.
