Hi Experts,

I have a SFTP file receiver to a third party, instead of doing a full test, I am wondering how can I do the test from CC, the main thing here URL part, I would assume if I want send the message to the third party, I would need their URL, but I am not sure what to put there?

Hi Blue,

If you want to send the file to third party then login to PI system at operating system level and connect to SFTP server and drop the file using put command.

I am not sure how to login to PI at the operating system level, can you provide bit more detail on that?

If you have operating system user for your PI system using putty tool you can login.

I would suggest another easy of testing.

Create a soap Sender channel with HTTP Protocol

get the WSDL and test using SOAP UI.Rever back to SFTP after testing.

you have user name and password for PI System login right?

I think that is not required there... not required means, system automatically takes the input.

We need to provide Sender component, Interface , namespace and reciver component.

And we need to provide our PI system Credentials in username and password,

Then Click send message.

Tried with my PI login info and got error as below, so I can't use my own PI login, right?

"Principal propagation is not active and technical IS service user (PIISUSER) was not used, but user (my PI user name). "

Add below Role to your User ID, else ask BASIS team to add below Role for your user XXX. then try to send again
