PPM - New project type -- namespace issue

Hi All,

I want to create new project types in PPM. I am thinking that I should not use the ones provided in standard and keep them as reference. I should copy the standard project type to create the one where I can make changes as per requirements.

1. Please let know if above understanding is correct

I tried copying an existing project type and got an error -- namespace. I also used tcode RDDKOR54 -- however could not get it.

2. How should I name the new project type (namespace)?

As with many other objects you need to stick to a custom namespace - e.g.:
