Secure Access to Webdispatcher / Enterprise Portal

Hi together,

we are using a Webdispatcher and behind that a Enterprise Portal.

Now we have the requirement to make the system more secure and note just using user and pw.

My 1st question is, is there any possibilty to implement a logon-procedure on webdispatcher?

2nd question is, is there a way to implement a radius-authentification on webdispatcher or at least on enterprise portal?

What are best practices to make it as secure as possible?

Hello,

The Web Dispatcher does not perform authentication for the SAP backend / applications.

The authentication takes place at the backend.

I guess that the first step would be to enable SSL at the Web Dispatcher, so your end users access the system through HTTPS (encrypted) instead of HTTP.

Hello Isaias,

this is already done, with help of SCN ( and I think also of you).

So I am really more talking about authentication....
