Hi All

I use next document

How-to Build an Agentry Based Mobile App from Scratch Connecting to an SAP Back-end Part 1

How-to Build an Agentry Based Mobile App from Scratch Connecting to an SAP Back-end Part 1

to understand How-to Build an Agentry Based Mobile Apps

I use

- Java 8 update 66

- Eclipse Version: 4.2.2

Build id: M20130204-1200

- Agentry Editor Plugin 70.10.0.9 com.syclo.agentry.editor.feature.feature.group SAP AG

from Agentry_70.10.0_EditorPlugin_x86_64.zip

- Agentry_70.10.0_Test_Environment.exe

On the Page 112

It is read

9. In the next window you should be able to see the Agentry Server that is already running on your system. Click on OK.

When I enter UserId and password it is doesn't show Dialog

"Please select server"

It just connect to the last server and start download data.

I can't force ATE to ask for new server:

Menus

  Test-Reset test Client

  Test-Remove user Data

  Test-Network connection

doesn't help.

The select server is only shown on the first transmit.  Reset the client and then log into the client.

For SMP 3, it is recommend that you use the Test client built into the editor and not the stand alone client.

Hello

I don't use Integrated Agentry Test Environment.

I use a standalone program desribed in the article

"How-to Build an Agentry Based Mobile App from Scratch Connecting to an SAP Back-end Part 1"

I installed Agentry Test Environment using Agentry_70.10.0_Test_Environment.exe application from SMP SDK.

Menu

  Test-Reset test Client

doesn't work, it still connect using old connection path.

The stand alone app is no longer development,  The Integrated client is the one is the so this is what is remembered to use.  Note, when the when " How-to Build an Agentry Based Mobile App from Scratch" was created the integrated client was not created yet.

I have to echo Steve's suggestion to switch to the integrated test environment.  Also the latest SDK has been release SP11 and I would suggest upgrading to that for the Editor to get the ATE fixes.

Hello Bill

I can't install "SAP MOBILE PLATFORM SDK 3.0 SP11"  from

SMPSDK30011_0-21011834.zip -> SMP3SDKInstaller-3.0.11.0-win -> setupAMD64.exe

When I start this app it shows next error.

My java is up to date.

Java product 1.8.0_73

I would think about problem with Java but SMP and Eclipse works without a problem.

Hello Stephen

I downloaded NDP461-KB3102436-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe and installed .NET Framework 4.6.1

Then I restarted Eclipse and tried to open Test Inveromant View

I got the same error

After I several time pressed Ok it showed next info.

I downloaded NDP452-KB2901907-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe and tried to install .NET Framework 4.5.2

but got an installation error

You need to upgrade your Editor plugin to the SDK SP11 version in order to run under .Net 4.6.1.

I have not seen that error before and the install for SP11 for ran as expected.  It don't believe it requires Java in order to install.
