ESR/ID/NWA is not opening

Dear All,

ABAP+java stack are not accessible but when we try to access ESR/ID/NWA with user id and password, We are getting error in the attached.

Kindly suggest. Is there any performance issue?

FYI: user have proper authorization even i have tried with j2ee_admin to access NWA, PIsuper to access ESR/ID

Hi Jhon,

I can't see right in the screen-shoot your PI version. For 7.1x and 7.3x there are note about an authorization issue:2049621 - Unable to login to PI ESR and Directory

Have you tried or your basis team the logon with other users?

Hi John,

1. Either the user doesn' exist

2. Or the password is incorrect

3. Or the user doesn't have roles to open ESR ID and NWA.

Not a performance John.

Clearly an authorization issue.Try restarting the server once,might help.

Restart can fix the issue but we need a root cause of the issue to avoid in future ...Since In week,  we have this issue 4 times...We may except tomorrow also

Or else try creating superuser with all the roles and test once.

Hi John,

Do you see all nodes and process lists are up and running in SAP MMC? You need a valid user credentials for login.

The screenshot is very generic.

Hello John,

your username is not having the required authorisation or might be secuiry team didn't create the user.

Check the below link for roles
