Installation source Sybase Replication Server SYBASE:*:SRS:*:LINUX_X86_64

Hi ,

I'm installing SAP Sybase Replication Server via sapinst and facing this error, label SYBASE:*:SRS:*:LINUX_X86_64 required.

tried 51043974(DVD - Replication Server 15.7.1 Linux x86-64 64-bit) but fail.

Kindly advice where can i find correct SRS source.

Hello,

If you're using SAPinst to install SRS I assume it is for HADR in a Business Suite environment purpose.

You are trying to install the SRS 15.7.1 GA version, which has never been certified for Business Suite, hence SAPinst will fail.

SRS 15.7.1 started to be certified for Business Suite since SP 100.

To get a SRS SP certified for Business Suite, go to SWDC -> Support Packages and Patches | SAP Support Portal -> Support Packages and Patches -> A-Z index -> Select Sybase Replication Server.

Only the SP with the mention 'also certif. for Bus. Suite' can be used for HADR in a Business Suite environment.
