Purchase Order / Sales Order Config Mismatch

Hi,

           I have created a purchased configurable item, but noticed that the configuration shown in the sales order & purchase order do not match!

The sales order config is as follows...

Purchase order config though is the following...

The characteristics for the 'Certification' & 'Special Cleaning Procedure' which are excluded via pre-conditions in the sales order (& CU50), show up in the purchase order. The two order are linked - tried making changes & these sync through, but the two characteristics always show regardless of the dependencies.

Odd?

Everything else works fine. It seems to be as if the dependencies are ignored & they operate as if they were not there.

Anybody know how to fix this or is it standard behaviour in purchase orders.

Are the preconditions syntax use any plant or sales organization to exclude these characteristic, if yes then it may be the reason behind characteristic display in PO.

Check and revert back.

              Thanks for the reply, but nope, the dependency is just based on the Area Class...

 

  Just seems odd.  As I already said, works fine when testing & in the sales order, but is not excluded from the PO.

  Any other thoughts?
