Getting an error of ‘Invalid configuration for catalog/Web Dispatcher’ while opening the SAP Fiori Launchpad Designer(T-code = /n/ui2/flpd_cust😞
- While accessing the Fiori Launchpad Designer,we were able to add and configure the catalogs in Fiori Launchpad Designer[T-code = /UI2/FLPD_CUST],after application of the following notes:
- Here are the notes that solved this issue of Launchpad Catalogs now showing up in Fiori Launchpad Designer and Fiori Launchpad when personalizing tiles.
This is the main note:
2251801 - Tile catalogs and groups are not loaded after upgrade in Fiori Launchpad and Fiori Launchp...
describing which notes are to be implemented in Back-end(E10) and Front-end(FID). But in co-ordination
because first note needs to be applied first in the Back-end(E10) and then in the Front-End(FID).

Dear Joseph,
Thanks a lot for helping. We have upgraded 'SAP_UI' component to SP level 15,
which has also updated the SAP UI5 Library to version 1.28.22(Previously it was 1.28.13).
I have invalidated the global cache via t-code '/n/ui2/INVAL_CACHES',but its still not showing catalogs in the Launchpad Designer.
I am now getting the following error in the browser,through chrome:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (Bad Request)
http://<host_name>:<port_no>/sap/opu/odata/UI2/TRANSPORT/GetDefaultCustomizingRequest? Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (Bad Request)
Since the update was to be done,we had to release all Workbench and Customizing Requests related to Fiori Developments.
Created a new customizing request to over come this and included all objects from the customizing request that was showing up in the error.

(01)Check System Aliases for all core Fiori Services t-code /n/iwfnd/maint_service,provided they are registered and also their corresponding SICF services are active as well. All of the core services should point to the LOCAL system alias i.e. it points to SAP gateway System it self.

e.g: https://fiori.portal.main:22312/sap/public/bc/ui5_ui5/index.html
Installing the latest version of the SAP UI 5 runtime helps,as it contains the latest bug fixes.
(03)To over come the catalogs issue,in SAP gateway client we performed the standard tasklists using T-code STC01. Run the following Tasklist items to overcome the catalogs issue:
> SAP_GATEWAY_BASIC_CONFIG
> SAP_FIORI_LAUNCHPAD_INIT_SETUP
