Add Components to BOM

Hi

I want to manually add additional components to the Sales BOM during order processing.

Can anybody let me know if this is possible and if yes request you to let me know how to do it?

Sorry correcting my question;

I want to add same configurable component as another line item and link it to the header material. Let me know if this gave more clarity. I tried to give the Header Item Line Number '10' in the subitem but it is not taking for the manually added component in sales order.

Hello Adithya,

First of all, why do you need to add a line manually for a BOM?

Could you create an alternative for this BOM using CS01?

Second, check in the header item in the Structure tab from SO if you have your item added.

Eventually, if you are 100% sure it is not added, please, heck in the item category, in the bill of materials section, the structure scope.

Hi,

There is an option in the item category (alternative manually) where you can select alternative BOM manually.

Did you check your item category determination for manually entered items in BOM
