SAP Design Studio 1.6 Dynamic Calculations

Hi Everyone,

I'm using Design Studio 1.6 connected to Hana views and the option to create dynamic calculations does not appear. Is it a limitation?

If I connect to a BW datasource this option becomes available both in the initial view and using the crosstab component.

Looks like dynamic calculations are not supported with HANA as a data source

Hello Tammy,

I was reading this post since I am not able to add dynamic calculation for "% contribution" and "Rank Number" in my crosstab. My crosstab is based on a universe (.unx) on top of HANA calculation view having input parameters.

As per SAP Roadmap  screenshot above it looks like was not possible on HANA but its marked as 'X' for Unx as source.

I could not add these dynamic calculations using Universe as source on HANA, I am on release 1.6 version 16.0.5.

Can you please provide your inputs on this. Is it possible now for HANA/Unx with any latest Service pack on release 1.6 ?
