Hi All,
Could anyone suggest for resolving the below issue.
Scenario: File (NFS) to File (FTP)
During the Interface testing, PI received the data with special symbols (Some Strange Characters) into PI Integration Engine (SXMB_MONI).
From the Sender Side they are running One batch Program and generating the file in ECC Archive Directory. Due to some circumstances Basis team running sm49 and file location got changed to PI Archive location. From there PI sender Channel is picking the Data and PI is getting some strange characters and processing the same and placing the file into the target location.
Could anyone tell me why we are getting strange characters into PI moni.

We We have configured below properties in File Sender Channel.
File Type: Text
File Encoding: UTF-16LE
Please let me know if any one need further information.
Note: The same Scenario is running in the production system without any deviations.
Hi Srikanth,
Try first to check the content of the file before this is taken for PI, for example in PI dual stack with the al11 transaction. In this way you can know if during PI proccessing the file is being transformed with weird characters. Later if the content has changed you can follow Raghuraman suggestion, paying attention to the point 3.1 in this document http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/502991a2-45d9-2910-d99f-8aba5d79f...
Regards.
