installation process

hi,

if want to do sap installation in my laptop. which i have to install first ECC6.0 or Netweiver..

having confusion please help.

Hello Raju,

SAP installation consists of several steps, so the installation guide needs to be followed.

For example, if you are installing ERP 6.0 EHP 8, you need to follow the installation guides under this link: https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012002523100000888952016E.

If you have a different version of ERP, go https://help.sap.com/erp, select your version, and select the "Installation and Upgrade Information" section.

Just to avoid misunderstandings: following all of the installation guides is not an optional possibility but a mandatory process.

SAP ECC 6 is not for installing on laptop,

There is cost and license involved,

if you need for training and test download the demo version or use SAP IDES

I assume you mean NetWeaver.

So, which one you want to install first, NetWeaver or ECC 6.0? That depends on what you want to do.

If you install ERP (ECC), you will install NetWeaver too. Think of ERP as something on top of NetWeaver.

If you install NetWeaver, you will have NetWeaver only.
