Remove Unused material

Dear Expert,

I am working with a manufacturing company where as we have 121900 material, I wanted to identify what all material are not being used and can be removed. Please let me know how do I find those material and remove.We can not propose to make any report for this. Please help me to find out the SAP standard ways.

Hi,

We cannot delete the master data if there is any transaction data exists for that material.

Check the material movements in transaction MB51, then you take a decision.

For the unwanted materials, use the Transaction MM06/ MM16 for Material Deletion flag.
