LUMS files for Afaria

Hello experts,

Please explain me what is LUMS and where can I find LUMS files.

I am interested in the integration of Lumira and Afaria. From time to time, I see references to LUMS files.

For example:

Configuration Guide SAP Lumira Analytics for Afaria (X95) SAP SE Building Block Configuration Guide.

In 3 ‘Installation of SAP Lumira Reporting for Afaria’, I found:

‘Installation of SAP Lumira Reporting for Afaria This section covers the information you need to implement the SAP Lumira Analytic for Afaria. Prerequisite You have downloaded the LUMS files from SAP Service Marketplace. For more information on the location to download the files, refer to the Quick Guide on SAP Note 1983256.‘

Another example:

Note: Since SAP Lumira desktop version 1.13, SVID has been renamed to LUMS, therefore both file extensions are supported on SAP Lumira Cloud.

I found only  SAP LUMIRA 1.0.There aren't any LUMS files.( see screenshot )

Where can I download the new versions of these  LUMS files? Should I buy Lumira to get LUMS files?

I got in touch with SAP support. They opened intsindent.

They answered:

"Dear Olga, I reached out to the responsible colleagues and they will update the document. In the meantime you can download the file at https://support.sap.com/software/installations.html> SAP Mobile Secure rapid-deployment solution> SAP RDS BIP CONTENT V2> # OS independent. The file is called "BIPCONTENT08P_4-10012108.ZIP" Unzip the file on your computer. From unzipped folder, navigate to rds_bip> AFARIA_IMPL> MobileSecure.lums. "Hopefully this will be helpful for you and thanks for providing the feedback! Best regards Gerlinde Wallner"

Unfortunately, I can`t take the file yet. What am I doing wrong? To this link https://support.sap.com/software/installations.html I can came in.

Go to "A-Z Alphabetical List" > go to "R" > scroll down and you will find the path starting at 'SAP Mobile Secure rapid-deployment solution'

The LUMS files are the files created in Lumira Desktop - see the SAP Help help.sap.com/lumira

I can't answer if you need to buy Lumira; you can download a trial version at saplumira.com
