Hello Experts,
I have exported the repositories from idm admin ui in .csv format. When i am trying to import the same file in another landscape which doesnt contain any repositories receiving an error message a below. I have stored the exported repository file on my local machine.
There was an error while importing the repositories
Could not import repository/repositories
Please do help.

thanks for your replies. Sorry for delay in responding.
As suggested by Aydin i have tried to check in the logs but nothing much about the error is mentioned. We are using SAP IDM 8.0.
When investigated further, we found that the sap idm doesn't allow the repositories naming convention length is restricted to 6 characters. after renaming it and tried to upload, it uploaded successfully.
But the strange thing is, in the logs only errors are displayed but the nothing about the cause of the error.

this is an issue that has been discovered in 8.0
It is reported and will be fixed in the upcomming SP02 so please stay tuned.

Using IdM 8, its always good to look into the ASJAVA if errors occur.
Can you reproduce the step, then go into NWA -> Logviewer -> View -> Open View -> System Logs & Traces and post the error message?
