Not able to activate SAP: FIN - Transactional apps

Hello everyone,

I am trying to activate SAP: FIN - Transactional apps on the Fiori Launchpad as an administrator, but I am not able to activate them. All the SICF UI2 and UI5 services are active. Please advice.

check whether service (SICF) "FIN_SPE_MON" is active and also odata service "SRA012_SPEND_SRV" is active.

We are on ECC EHP7 NW 740 and I am trying to activate FI transactional apps that are supported for ECC. I can see the service for "My Spend" app is active in SICF but I cannot see it in the app catalog in the launch pad. I am not seeing the standard roles that are mentioned in this page.

Hi SD,

MY Spend app is available for both non-HANA DB and any DB versions.

link which you have provided seems like you guys are using with HANA DB.

Assign SAP_SFIN_BCR_COSTMANAGER role to your user and check.

Make sure FCO_MS_SPEND_SRV service is active.

Looks like there is missing addons. Check whether below addons are applied or not, if not ask your basis team to do so.

Frontend Addon - UIAPFI70 200

Backend Addon - SAP_FIN 720

Or else can you attach your stack information.

Looks like it is a simple Gateway system, Ask your basis team to apply the addons as mentioned.

What is your DB? If you are not using HANA DB then the addons differs.

Frontend - UIX01EAP 100

Backend - SRA012 600

we are not on HANA DB, we are on ECC NW 740, EHp7 on Oracle 11.2. I will contact the basis team. Please correct me if we need different addons for the database we are on.

Just ask them to apply below addons:

Frontend (Gateway)- UIX01EAP 100

Backend (ECC) - SRA012 600

Once it is applied, you should see the role SAP_FIN_BCR_CostManager_X1, apply to your user.  Make sure SRA012_SPEND_SRV service is active.
