Orders not pegging correctly with shelf life run PPDS

Hi Gurus,

When ever we run PPDS Shelf life planning run we see that some order are not pegging at all.

If the req qty is today and receipt is created for tomorrow still a new requirement  is created after the planning time fence.

When we run normal heuristics it works perfectly fine. Issue is happening only if we select Shelf life planning.

Please find the example below. When i use 00_002 works perfectly fine. We get issue only when we run shelf life heuristic .

Please suggest.

First you create the pegging and then you apply the Shelf life!

How to create Pegging ? Is there a job which we run and having pegging relationship created?

Rajesh,

You can create you own heuristic based on SAP_PP_019 to create pegging relationships by using a filter for requirements and receipts ATP categories.

Thanks for your response. We are running dynamic pegging and i the above mentioned heuristic is related to fixed pegging(SAP_PP_019) . Can you please suggest?

Dear Rajesh,

As per my understanding the receipt elements are not considered by the order, So. create a Manual order in your product view and try to trigger the Product heuristic. If the batches are assigned to it, there is no inconsistencies in the order. If the batches are not considered. Recheck the status of the batch in OLTP system like MSC3N and  see whether there are any changes.

Hi All,

Thanks for your suggestions. This issue is related to shelf life planning surplus orders were created.

Issue resolve after remove the value from Rq Max shelf life. field.

We have values in shelf life and Req min shelf life which is good for the good results.
