Managed Systems Configuration even for the SolMan?

Hi Experts,

I had a problem with the Solman a long time ago and opened a SAP ticket. The processor from this tickets said that it is not a good idea to configure the Solman itself as a managed System. Is that right? Because the Solman is also in the technical Systems overview in the managed System configuration and shows red and grey lights. This is a little bit disturbing.

Hi

If you have to configure the solman functionalities for solman system itself then you must perform the managed system setup for solman also, for example technical monitoring etc.

so it is nonsense what the ticket processor from SAP said and it is no problem to do the configuration for the managed System for the Solman itself. This is what I already thought when he said that to me...
