Enter Quality parameters in material while creating the PO

We want to add quality parameters in material while creating the PO.

Is there standard option for doing this.

Hi Himanshu,

To keep it simple, have you tried using Item Details => Texts box field ? What is the issue there? Have you explored the functionality of 'Services for Object' which comes as a default setup in SAP? With these steps, the cost of operation, implementation and maintenance for the customer would be minimum and easy to handle.

Also please can you also confirm if your end objective is to activate inspection lot at GR form PurOrd or not? Are you interested in inbound quality certificate processing or not.

At high level, I think your business process should have the below setup -

a) Activating QM Control Key [Config -----> Quality Management => QM in Logistics => QM in Procurement => Define Control Keys]

b) Activate Document management and add specifications there. [Config -----> Quality Management => Environment => Central Functions => Define Document Types]

c) Activate Quality Info Record for Material + Vendor + Plant. [Transaction - QI01]. Add the previously created DMS document for the Vendor.

d) Try to check if the values for characteristics linked to this DMS document can be updated while PurOrd is created or not.
