Adapter Engine Self Test HTTP 500 Internal Server Error

Hi guys,

I am facing an issue in PI 7.3

While clicking on Adapter Engine in Component Monitoring in RWB, the status is showing as red and the error message shown is:

HTTP request Failed: Error Code: 500 Error Message: Internal Server Error[http://host:port/AdapterFramework/rtc]

On the SLD Registration tab, under Adapter Engine, we are getting 2 red status marks with error message:

URL used currently by Adapter Engine is null.

URL used currently by Adapter Engine and stored in SLD are different.

I have checked all the parameters in the Exchange Profile and everything seems to be in order.

SLD content also seems to be okay in this respect.

I am attaching screenshots of both the pages.

Any help in this regard would be appreciated!

Hi All,

We identified the cause of the issue.

The parameter it was picking up was from the java service XPI Service: CPA Cache. The parameters were SLD.selfregistration.hostName and SLD.selfregistration.httpPort which were having the old host name and port number after system copy.

the problem is:

"URL currently used by Adapter Engine and URL stored in SLD are different"

Please try to restart the System. When you restart the system ,the Adapter Engine will be registered in the SLD.

If that does not help, we need to remove the Adapter Engine in the SLD by hand and register it again.
