Hi Vasileios,

Am aware of the role SAP_IBP_TCR_T, which is a "Technical role; authorization for accessing all apps on the launchpad"

but not sure on "SAP_IBP_TCR_A"??

Naveen

The T-Roles are no technical roles. They determine which tiles a user can see in the Fiori WebUi, for example whether you are allowed to open the Dashboard Tile, the CASE's etc

All other roles (not all having the _A at the end) are the backend roles.

That means, they determine which KF you can change or display something, which operator you can execute, if you are allowed to run e.g. the statistical forecast or a snapshot.

Some T-Roles can be business roles, some can be technical.
Technical tile would be e.g. Role Maintenance or Configuration

Same for the Backend Roles, there are administartor roles as well as user roles for e.g. data access

Hello Vasileios

The role naming ending with 'T' is for the front role app usage. The one ending with 'A' should be for the backend (though normally should be 'APP').

Transactional app based on the backend description.

Regards.
