Lumira Desktop: Empty list in 'Select a Source'

Dear All,

Can someone provide me thought on why my SAP Lumira Desktop does not show/list any sources. The screen is empty without any source listed there, when I go to File > New > Add New dataset.

A few of our users(not all) have this error.

Version: SAP Lumira 1.29

Please use the camera icon and upload a screen shot of what you are asking - are you saying you don't see Excel as a data source?

Powlas, there are no options under 'Select a Source'. Please see screen below.

And this happens only for just a couple of users. All others have them listed.

I've never seen that before; can you uninstall and reinstall version 1.29.3?  Does your system meet the Lumira prerequisites (e.g. 64 bit operating system...)

The uninstall and install did not fix. Strangely, when the LumiraGovernance.Properties file is deleted, the user is able to view the options.

The same file does not give any issue on my system.

Yes, the user has a 64-bit Operating System and Pre-requisites are met.

What is contained in the Lumira Governance properties?  Have you compared contents with those who can see the datasources?

Yes, I copied that file from the users machine to my machine, I see no issue.

The same file seems to be an issue in users machine.

I wonder if you could set up a trace to help troubleshoot?  See

OK, Powlas, that will be my next troubleshooting step. Thank you for the inputs.

When I login to Lumira on the users machine, I can see the list, but when he logs in, he is unable to see them.

Is this related to security? If so, which area in the CMC controls this security?
