Hi All,
Need your guidelines.
I have scenario wherein i have two different Material code one is for selling purpose which is (SKU)
& I have one another Material code which is for Bulk Production. and we are using this Bulk material code as Basic material code in SKU material master data.
Example - Material A for Selling (SKU)
Material B for Bulk Production.
Now if i am creating sales order for SKU material code and stock is not available however If there is production process is in progress for Bulk material which later on will be converted into SKU. Now my requirement is if Bulk Material is in (Production process). So is there any possibility to perform ATP for Bulk material code.
Thank you,
Hi,
These codes are entirely different and bulk materials may not have sales views so it is difficult to check the availability of bulk materials in the sales order.

I think, Bulk material u mean to say Semi Finished Goods (Which is not for Sale) , Which later going to Convert into Finished Goods (SKU, As per Your Version). And It Will be really interesting to know, How to put one Material Code inside the another Material Code !!
Anyway Try it,
go to "Basic function >> Availablity Check >> Checking Group Default Value " . Maintain Material Type ( Check the Material type its HALB or FERT), Plant and Availablity Check.
Now Go to OVZ9 and Maintain X (include Production Order).

Nirbhay,
Probably.
Exactly what process is being used in SAP to 'convert Bulk material into SKU'?
