Back-end Configurations In SAP PI and SAP ECC

Hi All,

Could you please let me know what are all the Back-end Configurations In SAP PI and SAP ECC to integrate SAP ECC with Third Party/ SAP Systems using SAP PI.

Like RFC destinations, ports?

What are all the transactions we need to check connectivity in PI as well as as ECC.?

Hello Vishnu,

For proxy (single stack)two RFC connections of type G in sm59.one for Sending Proxy data ,other for Sproxy.

And port would be TRFC port.

we are using Dual Stack.

what about IDOC ports and RFC destinations.

Raghu already mention about IDOC port, you need to create TFRC port in WE21 and the corresponding 3 type RFC destination in SM59.

Hi Vishnu,

Please identify what are you going to send/receive between ECC and PI first.
Whether Idoc(ALE settings), proxy(proxy settings),BAPI or file.
