Hello folks,

Hope you all are doing good.

Basically Iam into FI. We have a requirement to extend the fiscal year for current year 2016 for versions 0,1 and 2 in project systems.

Other than this there is no info given.

Could anyone let me know how do I do this. I was rigorously searching on Google, unfortunately coyld nt find anything.

I doubt if it is related to controlling in maintain versions in img.

If this is the xase., the how do I check that it is extended in PS as well.

Waiting for your valuable response.

Regards,

It is directly related to CO Versions.  Use OKEQ to config the CO Versions.

Make sure Projects is checked under the Controlling Area definition, Activate Components/control indicators for the fiscal years.

Versions are common between all CO objects for planning purpose (PS,CC, IO etc) unless they are marked for exclusive usage e.g. Progress analysis.

One of the many menu paths to edit versions is as below-

SPRO-PS-Cost- CO versions

Select the version you want to extend- Select 'Controlling area settings' - Settings for Fiscal Years

Enter the year which need to be open, select parameters 'Int. planning, copying allowed' as required. Save and you are all set to use this (generic, not excl.) version for planning PS & CO objects.
