HANA backup not possible with Data Protector 9

We're using HANA 110 and are trying to backup the database using Data Protector 9. We configured everything, but in Data Protector, the Schedule tab is missing. Also, we can't start an online backup manually.

Has anyone achieved to schedule backups using Data Protector?

Hi, you cannot schedule the backup from Dataprotector, you have to start the backup from Hana studio or from HDBSQL because HANA start the backup using the backint directly

Hi.

So you can start manually backup from SAP Hana Studio or using command line HDBSQL.

If you want to schedule the backups, you can do it by creating a crontab entry or by scheduling in TCODE DB13.

Which type of HANA System are you working on is it a Single Container or Multi Database Container(MDC) System

Looking at the HP Data protector 9.0 documentation from below link I see a limitation on this BACKINT tool for the MDC systems
