Hi Gurus,

Can anyone please advise on this.I'm facing issue in production When a FF User access the Firefighter session its prompting for username.

Manually changing the password for FFID and carrying on the FF activity.

Its working in DEV and QA as usual but not in Prod its prompting for Username and Password.

I have checked

RFC Destinations and they are good

Authorizations objects checked S_RFC and S_IFC and are good

No CUA

No SAP Note Implemented in DEV/QA

Audit Log is Clear.Request is Finished.

Please advise is anything we can do apart from the above steps and appart from note.

We are using SP07 of GRCFND_A Component

Regards,

Suresh

Suresh:  Check SLG1.  Usually this is due to authorization on the FF User and it does not have authorization for the FF User Group.  You might need ACTVT 05 and / or 02 for S_USER_GRP for the User Group you have the Firefighter IDs assigned to in the FF User Role.  See SAP Note 1944417.

Thanks.

Hi Kevin,

If we maintain the authorization for user group with ACVT 05,Basis users can have access to lock/unlock and reset password. Please advise if we can remediate this by removing access to SU01 for Basis Users.

Kind Regards,

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

You may need to maintain trusted RFC between systems in order not to prompt for a password. Please check the connection settings again and confirm.

Hi Surya,

We have not maintained trusted RFC in either in DEV/QA but its working fine in these systems.

Please suggest if there may be such difference in Production environment.

Hi Suresh

Is it one FF user or all of them with this problem?

What type of user is it and what permissions does it have in its system?

Hi Colleen,

Yes all FF user has this problem. They are performing FF activity after entering the username and password as we are manually setting the password for FFID.

FFID is Service user type.there are some set of roles along with FF Role.

Thanks,

Suresh
