General Error;-10108 session has been reconnected

Hi Experts,

We are getting below error while loading to HANA table, we are using source as a Oracle database.

ODBC data source <Data Source Name> error message for operation <SQLExecute>: <[SAP AG][LIBODBCHDB DLL][HDBODBC] General error;-10108 Session has been reconnected.

We have created a connection to HANA database by using ODBC connections.

We are using below application versions.

IPS 4.0 SP5

BODS 4.2 Patch 4

HANA client 1.0.9.34895

Oracle  Client 11.2.0.1.0

Can anyone help us on this issue.

1. make sure hana client is compatible with hana server

2. Are you bulk loading?

3. run job with loader trace on - it would give you the sql, ds is issues to Hana, can you run that in Hana Studio? Can you post the SQL here?

Thanks for your reply,

1) We tried to run the same job with less number of records from source( Oracle ) and its executed successfully , its giving this error when we try to run billions of records from the source side.
so probably its not an issue with the HANA client.

2) No, we are not doing Bulk load.

3) I will try this and let u know the results.
