Duplicate Vendor onboarding

HI All,

There is a scenario where we need to onboard same vendor code from 2 diff R/3 systems. I have followed all the required steps as per my understanding. Please correct if my understanding is wrong.

FOR EX :

There are 2 R/3 systems A and B and Vendor code is V1.

1. Currently V1 has already onboarded from A and create an entry in table /SAPAPO/LOCMAP.

2. I created same vendor with prefix for ex XY_V1 directly in SNC. Another entry created with different business system group and logical system.

3. Execute program /SAPAPO/CHANGE_LOGSYS to change the business system group and source logical system name.

4. Maintain entry in Locali table. /n/sapapo/locali.

4. Onboard transportation lane(SA) to SNC.

I am getting error while onboarding SA from system B to snc."Location does not exist".

Did I miss any steps?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Santosh

Hi Santosh,

Are you trying to use SCM Model functionality as a differentiator ?

As i understand from your post, there are 2 different ECC system. In such a scenario i suggest you to create 2 different model where master data seperation will happen correctly.
