Difference between planning operators

Hello

What is the difference in terms of results between the operators - Unconstrained D/S (No shortage) and Constrained D/S? In a very simple model: Customer <- Warehouse. If the demand is 100 at the customer and the warehouse only has 10 in stock, how would the results be on running the operators?

Hello Matt,

Check the model configuration guide(section- 10.9) for detail description of planning operators.

For your given case, unconstrained D/S will fulfill all the customer demand if there is a valid transportation lane while constrained D/S(Optimizer) might not meet all the demand.
