Product Master - Preferred UOM

Dear Experts,

As per SAP suggestion we have Activated the Business Function SCM_EWM_FND to convert the Base UoM into Stock Specific UoM.

We have maintained the Product Base UoM = KG and in Storage & Whse Data Tab of Product Master we also maintained the

Preferred UoM = CS(case)

But still in inbound / outbound documents and Wh. Monitor the Product UoM is shown in Base UoM(KG).

Kindly suggest if any config change is to be implemented.

Hello Ramesh,

Do you have this "case" uom in uom section, material master?

If you don't have a conversion, how can EWM convert kg to case?

Hi Serhan

Yes, apart from the Base UoM(KG), rest all UoM's we have maintained as Alternation UoM with conversion details.

Hi Ramesh,

Try going to SPRO --> IMG --> SCM EWM --> EWM --> Goods Issue process --> Out bound delivery --> manual settings --> Check for your Item Type and enable the check box for "Apply ERP AUoM as SUoM.

Try it and let me know.
