Attributes Values in Excel are displayed twice

Hi,

I have created new Attributes and Master Data types in our Project IBP.

For some reason, inside planning views, the value of the attribute is displayed twice in the cell:

Still, when I look at the Master Data, the info is there only once:

I've tried re-uploading the data with no success. And for some reason, this seems to happen only on newly created Attributes as attributes like CUSTID or PRODID are not doubled.

Any ideas ? Thanks!

Hi Marc,

See if note 1790530 helps. ( How to Transfer Delivered Templates to Your Own Planning Area)

Thanks, Nikhil

It seems the issue was related to the Excel templates.

We started fresh with new templates and all i good.

Hi Marc

I remember we had that as well once, and it disappeared with some of the addin-updates, but I cannot really recall if the addin was the root cause, especially as it did not happen with all users.

What IBP- and what Excel AddIn - Release do you have?

I'm not sure the exact version, but our customer is on IBP 5.

In terms of addin: 4.0.2.2.

I'm still on an older AddIn because our own IBP is still not upgraded to 5.

well, I cannot really help, but if you open OSS message, you may get the reply to have the proper belonging AddIn installed. Latest version is 5.0.6.0 which came out 13. January

Please upgrade and test again

Would like to know if that inconsistency is the reason or something else

I am always switching between different versions due to different systems

But lately I mostly work with the addon 5, which is downwards compatible with IBP4 backend for me without any recent issues in the IBP4-backend

Good luck

Thanks,

I'm trying to install the latest version, and I'm getting this error:

I'm kind of stuck now ...

Well, I get this error when I try to upgrade.

I get a different error if I uninstall my old version first : it's asking me to install office (I have 2016).

I have no issue going back to my previous version and installing it.

So you could uninstall the old version, but you get error message when you than try to install the new version?

Did you check you have the correct prerequisites fullfilled? You will find them described in the excel download section at the end of the information box

Sorry
