Hi there,
We have four systems that currently have EWA created for them.
I applied a patch ST-PI, ST-A/PI a few weeks back on BWP.
Its a bit of a coincideance that I am now not receiving the EWA by email
like I used to.
When I go into DSWP on our solition manager system (SMD), I can see
the following:
I dont know too much about the EWA. I can see that for the systems PR1, EPP and SMD
the report was produced and I did receive it in an email for each of them.
For BWP however, I didnt receieve the EWA via email.
When I run RTCCTOOL - Service Preparation check on BWP all looks good:
Can anyone tell me where to look? Or what I am doing wrong?
Thanks
Andy
Hi Andy.
You have SM 7.01 or 7.1?
First go to TCODE SOST and verify if the email is sent or is with any error.
Then, go to TCODE: solution_manager and check if your email is valid in the BW Solution.
You can also, delete and recreate the email recipient and then test if it works.
Your error happened to me, and I had to recreate all the entrys with the emails.

Many thanks Osvaldo,
We are using SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0
I can see in SOST that there was no email to send:
The other system I can see above but no BWP.
In solution_manager I can see that the email details are correct:
Dont know where to go from here! Is the actual job being run?
Thanks
Andy
Hi Andy,
As per the screen-shot EWA for BWP was not generated.
You need to check why..?
Try manually triggering the EWA as shown below to check if that works

Hi Guys,
I think I know the problem. It looks like soman is not using the correct RFC.
In BWP via SM59 I can see:
The SM1 mentioned in the error looks like an very old solman we had many years ago.
The correct one is SMD !!
I see these are automatically generated. Are these generated from solman? If so
how I can regenerate them so that the RFC solman uses is SMD and not SM1?
Again many thanks
Andy
