The 2 possible solution in this note are :
1. The flag is supplied by user defined report after the import
2. In the field assignment/mapping an update is coded on the respective table field .
The 2nd solution is clear that we have to write code in the standard LSMW under the mapping area. But whats the 1st one. I assume they are saying that we have to create a separate Z program to update the records after creating long text with LSMW ? Is my understanding correct ?
I am updating long text of routing/inspection plan header and the operations.
I believe you have the note interpreted correctly.
I think you need a program to set the flag after the import.
But you should post the question in the developers space. While you are loading to inspection plans, this is really a generic type of object and I expect it's not limited to just inspection plans but anything that uses long text. So I imagine there are developers that have dealt with this. QM - not so much.
