Including Existing Fixed Assets ( Only created in 2014 and 2015 ) with a new Depreciation Area

Hi Friends,

We have a requirement, where we need to include a New Depreciation Area for Fixed Assets which were created only in the year 2014 and 2015 and not all the existing assets. As of now , with the help of transaction code AFBN we are able to include the New depreciation area for all existing assets , how ever our requirement to update the Assets which were created in 2014 and 2015 is not happening .

Need expert advice ....

Hi

you need to specify data specifications for the depreciation area you are activating. other wise system will consider takeover date maintained for company code.

maintain data specifications for new dep.area in OAYC take over date as 2013/12 and run AFBN for that depreciaton area

Thank you for your reply .

In OAYC we maintain the last  period in which Depreciation was posted . My question is how it will affect the Assets which were included in AFBN with new Depreciation area . AFBN includes all the assets of which the Asset class with New Depreciation area is active .

Our requirement is Only those Assets should include the new depreciation area in AFBN, which were created in 2014 and 2015 .

hi

i am not sure standard solution available for this. you may need to go for custom report for this requirement.
