GRC 5.3 ECC vs GRC 10.0 ECC

Hi Experts,

We are migrating our GRC 5.3 box to GRC 10.0. However I am confused with below:

We have two ECC box:

1) ABC - has GRC 5.3 configured and RAR data

2) XYZ - has GRC 10.0 Netweaver Plug In

Our main GRC component is configured on system HIJ.

While performing Migration, RAR data was exported from ABC and uploaded to HIJ.

So when validating in HIJ, the risks point to ABC.

When I tried to execute Sync Jobs for ABC, I couldn't as it does not have GRC 10.0 Plug In.

So, I changed my connector for Sync Jobs to XYZ and was successfully able to execute Sync Jobs.

My query is, HIJ still has data from ABC. But we cannot use this connector for GRC 10.0 due to missing Plug In and the risks still point to ABC.

How can I proceed with resolving this issue?

Can we install GRC 10.0 Plug In to our ABC system and complete migration? or is there any way to have GRC 5.3 Data to XYZ and perform migration all over again?

One more thing I noticed, the SAP BASIS component for ABC is SP17. I understand for migration to be successful, it should be SP20?

Hi V,

Please install Plug-in in ABC system, create connectors to ABC and assign the logical system.

Once you configure connector setting to ABC you please run below synchronization jobs in order

Authorization Sync

Repository Object Sync
