Account determination issue

Hi SD experts,

Can we account determination without assiging Account key?

I hve tried this by giving entries in General table (004) , but i am unable to create billing doc.

error- billing doc can not be generate

points will be rewarded

Hi Shabnum,

Account determination can not be done with out account kes as they are used to find out the respective G/L accounts.

Hello Shabnum,

<b>Account Key</b> identifies different types of G/L accounts to which the prices, discounts and taxes must be posted. The condition types in the pricing procedure are linked to an account key. This key in turn is linked to the GL Accounts.

This shows the integration between the pricing in the invoice and the financial accounting module. The account key enables the system to post amounts to certain types of revenue account. For example, the system can post freight charges (generated by the freight pricing condition) to the relevant freight revenue account.

Hi,

Without acconting key it is not possible to determine GL account,that is the only link avialable in standard SAP.
